What we do
We provide workshops in circus skills like acrobatics, juggling, and more. Through these activities, we cultivate leadership, teamwork, and confidence in young individuals, empowering them to thrive. We have existed as a community group for over twenty years, and in 2020 became a charity. We use social circus as a platform to deliver youth work. Youth Work is a distinct educational process adapted across a variety of settings to support a young person's personal, social, emotional and educational development. With two of our lead youth workers qualifying at level 3, and more to come, we are expanding on this everyday and doing our level best to make support accessible and engaging those who need it most.
Why social circus?

Unveiling the Power of Social Circus: Our Approach
We run a variety of programmes and projects that incorporate social circus and play, with connecting communities and volunteering. Our young people help to organise and deliver community events, such as Family Fun Days and Coffee mornings. They take part in bag-packing, social action projects and help to deliver our Healthy Activity and Food Programme, funded by Cumbria County Council, a scheme to provide free food and activities to those who need it in the holidays.
